Four
Four
Group show
4 Apr – 18 May 2025
Hama Gallery is proud to present Four, a group exhibition marking four years of pushing boundaries, building bridges, and creating space where it wasn’t given. What began as an idea by our gallerist Nina Hama, has grown into a community – a place that keeps evolving, just like the artists who fill it with life. Four goes beyond just an exhibition; it’s a pause, a deep breath, a moment to stand still while everything keeps moving. A reminder that art, like the world around us, never stays in one place.

We’ve carefully selected our latest highlights; this year with (new) works by artists Ziarah Janssen, Eline Martherus, Melissa Schriek, Isabel Velasquez, Chiara Caselli & Francesco Carrasso – each bringing their own lingo, their own rhythm and their own way of seeing the world. Some works capture fleeting moments, others show new perspectives, but all of them speak to the power of making space – on our walls, in conversations, in the narratives we choose to amplify.

Many of you already know that we have been expanding Hama Gallery for some time now. With this celebration, we also want to announce our (partial) move, from Amsterdam to Ibiza. Our physical space in Amsterdam will become nomadic, but we will still participate in art fairs and other exciting collaborations in the Netherlands, which we will announce bit by bit in the coming time.

Celebrations are often about looking back or looking forward, but Four is about the space in between – the ongoing, the unfolding, the now. The things still taking shape. The conversations still to be had.

Thank you to everyone who has walked through our doors, whether for a quick glance or a (first) purchase. Our location on the Willemsparkweg 64h will officially close on the 18th of May, 2025, at 6 pm. For viewings after this period, or other questions (also about Ibiza) you can still reach us via info@hamagallery.com, our webshop remains open as usual and we ship worldwide.
Here’s to four years of Hama Gallery — and counting. <3
